Today’s Washington Post states: The remaining members of Pink Floyd are suing EMI for Internet royalty payments. The band, whose contract with the record label is over ten years old, wants the label to cough up digital sales royalties and stop selling individual Pink Floyd songs– rather than complete albums– via web outlets. Because listening to one song at a time totally harshes the Pink Floyd experience. “Pink Floyd is well-known for performing seamless pieces. Many of the songs blend into each other,” the band’s attorney told a London court.
