Hot Topic Series Continues: The Application of Environmental and Food Laws to a Genetically Modified Food System

July 10 | 12:00-1:00 | Oakes 007

First, a hearty welcome to Bill Eubanks from the VLS Cornell Library where he spent many hours while working on his LL.M.

Bill’s talk today highlights recent efforts to apply novel statutory mandates to laboratory-created foods as an attempt to ensure meaningful public participation in and transparent oversight of our collective food system.

In the VLS Cornell Library collection we have many books on this topic.

JULIEN will provide you with links to the Library of Congress subject heading Genetically Modified Foods.

Don’t forget that many of the books in this area can be found under the subheadings to Genetically Modified Foods. Of particular interest may be the subheading law and legislation.

A Library of Congress heading closely related to Genetically Modified Foods is Food Biotechnology as well its subheadings.
