The Environmental Law Center presents the Hot Topics in Environmental Law 2012 Summer Brown Bag Lecture Series.

Richard Harris, NPR: A reporter’s look at the psychology and sociology of climate denial, with a look at what it would take to re-frame the issue.

I’m an avid NPR listener and I am excited that Richard Harris to hear Harris speak tomorrow, here at VLS, rather than through the airwaves.

I was particularly drawn to a couple books in the environmental collection, which touch on this matter.

Climate Cover-Up: The Crusade to Deny Global Warming

Living in Denial: Climate Change, Emotions, and Everyday Life

Living in Denial is an ebook–please see downloading Ebrary titles for instructions on using ebooks.

How do you cope with climate change and global warming? Do you live in denial? What framework do you operate in to makes sense of this issue?

I look forward to hearing Harris’ perspective on this topic tomorrow.
