From Saturday, December 11th-Wednesday December 22nd the Library will be open from 8 AM to Midnight .
On Thursday, December 23rd we will open at 8 AM and close at 5 PM for winter break. The Library will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 8:00 a.m.
Need some help preparing for exams? The Library offers an array of study aids on topics from accounting, to wills and trusts. The study aids are comprised of different types of series, including Nutshells, Concise Hornbooks, Understanding, Examples and Explanations, Questions and Answers, Sum and Substance (CDs), and a recent series entitled Mastering. We will be happy to help you discover the possibilities. All of the current editions are on Reserve and can be checked out for two hours with renewal available provided no one else is waiting.
Please be considerate of your fellow classmates by respecting the silent study areas. We offer a variety of study areas with the basement level being the quietest of all! In addition, the library desk staff can provide disposable earplugs for those students needing them. Beginning next week, the library study rooms will be unavailable so that the rooms may be managed by the Registrar’s Office for exam administration. However, we will open up a table for group study, in the Reserve Room, beginning Saturday, December 11th.
We understand how stressful this time is. But remember, we are here for you whether it is suggesting a study aid, lending a supportive ear and smile, or offering some exam period pick-me-up candy.
On behalf of the entire Library Staff, good luck on your exams, papers and projects.
