We know you love our library. So do we! Started last year, we created a library Instagram account to showcase our library’s happenings and services. Over there, you will see pictures and posts about the events we sponsored at the library, reasons why we love working here and why we are awesome, and our pretty campus in Vermont’s four seasons.
What’s new here in 2016? We’re hosting our first ever Instagram contest and need your participation! Tell us what you love about our library, whether it’s your favorite study spot, the services and resources we offer, or our dedicated library staff member. We love to hear from you! Here is how you can participate:
HOW TO ENTER
- Follow @vtlawlibrary on Instagram
- Snap a photo showing how you love our library. Some ideas like:
- Something you like about the Library
- Your favorite place in the Library
- Your favorite resource or service from the Library
- Our Library in Vermont winter
- Think creative!
- Upload your photo to Instagram, and include a descriptive caption. Tag us @vtlawlibrary, and tag your photo #myvlslibrary
The contest will run from Friday, January 15, 2016 to Monday, February 15, 2016. Multiple entries are allowed.
SELECTION AND PRIZES
Two winners will be selected: People’s Choice (photo with most likes) and Library Staff’s Choice (based on quality, relevance and creativity). Each winner will receive a $25 Barrister’s Bookstore gift card. Winners will be announced on February 16, 2016 via their Instagram photo.
ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to all VLS students.
CONTEST RULES
Submitted photographs must obey all laws, including applicable copyright and privacy laws. By entering the contest, you are giving the library permission to use your photo.
